This amazing project involved the total rebuilding of Sir John Dean College, in two phases to enable the college to function throughout the development. The new construction comprises of seven new teaching blocks, the refurbishment and upgrading of the original historic school building. The new scheme consists of 2 and 3 storey steel framed construction with in-situ concrete floor on profiled metal decking. There is a stunning internal street running the full length of the new building, utilising beautifully exposed Glulam timber roof beams. The existing listed hall within the original school building is the only element retained and refurbished. This building has now been converted into the new school refectory.
