The new University Technical College in Warrington that caters for 600 students aged 14 to 19 and specialises in Energy and Engineering.

The development comprises a seven storey ‘cube’ shaped building with engineering workshops. class rooms, staff offices, a Learning Resource Centre and a lecture theatre.

The structural steel frame is exposed with precast concrete floors and structural cores. The building is clad with SIP panels with the finished metallic cladding over and around the random fenestration.

BIM was used throughout the design and construction to coordinate disciplines and site activities.
